Gadwal sarees are traditional handloom sarees originating from the town of Gadwal in the Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana, India. We are distinguished by our interlocked-weft technique, known as Kupadam or Kuttu, which fuses a pure cotton body with intricately woven silk or zari borders and pallus. These handwoven masterpieces feature contrasting colors, geometric and floral motifs, and often a “Temple Design” inspired by architecture.
